WAR BIRDS DAY Saturday 21st September

This is our last event of the year and even though it says warbirds if you dont have one it doesnt matter, bring along what you enjoy flying and join in the fun.We would like a more informal approach if possible so competitions could run all day but still be completed

we hope to have a carrier deck drawn out(a painted rectangle) with a circle in the middle.The idea being we can use one for spot landings and also for the bomb drop

The events will be

  • Spot Landings
  • Bomb Drop
  • Micro Warbirds
  • Take off and spot landings
  • Also,throughout the day warbids will be judged for best scale flight (no stabalisers) including take off and landings.

There could be a prize for best static model

The BBQ will run from 12.30pm – 1pm or until all is gone.

There will be a minimum charge of £2, but all donations go to this years charity the Yorkshire Air Ambulance so please feel free to dig deep.
