It is the club meeting this Thursday (14th November 2019) @ Batley RAFA club (7.30pm start).

        The provisional agenda is below.

As per previous circulations the new CAA legislation regarding the flying of model aircraft (SUA – small unmanned aircraft, as the air navigation order describes them) comes into force on 30th November 2019 (link below to club website).

        https://ddmac.bmfa.uk/caa-legislation-update-2nd-november-2019/

The main things that effect normal club flyers are the registration as a flyer/pilot and the registration and labelling of the aircraft with an operator ID number.

I will give a short presentation at the meeting on how I think the law will affect us at DDMAC and what members need to do, to fly legally.

If you are not sure what you need to do or when you need to do it by, please come along and hopefully we will be able to deal with any questions you may have.

        Martin Lynn,
        DDMAC Membership Secretary.
